Welcome

These are exciting times, and we are glad that God has privileged us to be part of His master plan for the universe. It is our hearts’ desire to continue in the vision and purpose the Lord ordained for this ministry. Even though the body has many parts, it functions efficiently when each part works in unity. You too can be part of this MOVE! Feel free to explore our website and experience the WCI family. And if you are ever in the New York (Queens) vicinity, please stop by and say hello.

What We Believe

We endeavor to advance, publish, and promote the principals and tenants of the Christian Faith as it pertains to the true worship of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. As Jesus declared, “the Father seeketh such to worship Him” (John 4:23). Our aim is to present worship as one of the mainstays of the Christian life.

As Jesus declared to His disciples before His ascension, we endeavor to publish, advance, and promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ globally. We embrace this assignment as our chief aim of ministry.

We plant churches and mission locally and globally, for the fostering and promoting of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Holy Scriptures, and evangelism. Further, we establish churches for the assembling believers to encounter and experience worship, the preached word, instruction in the Holy Scriptures, and the evoking of social change.

We instruct the believer and educate the non-believer in the Word of God. We embrace the belief that, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (II Tim 3:16-17).

We believe that the Holy Scriptures are The Inspired Word and that they are infallible, and inerrant. They are profitable for doctrine and the fulfillment of God’s plan for the human race (II Tim 3:15-17; I Thess. 2:13; II Pet. 1:21).

We believe that there is no other way to receive Salvation other than through the work of Christ on the cross, through the atonement (Conditions to: Luke 23:47; John 3:3; Rom. 10:13-15; Eph. 2:8; Tit. 2:11,3:5-7) (Evidence of Rom. 8:16; Eph. 4:24; Tit.2:12).

We believe in the work of the Holy Sprit in the life of the believer. He is God (Endument: Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4,8; I Cor. 12:1-31)(Subsequent to New Birth: Acts 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9)(Evidence of: Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:6).

We believe in the institution called, the Church, which was established by the Lord Jesus Christ (Eph. 1:22,23; 2:22; Heb. 12:23).

We believe in the ordinances of the Church, established by Jesus Christ; mainly baptism (Matt. 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47,48; Rom. 1:7;6:4, II John 3) and communion (I Cor. 11:26; II Pet. 1:4).

We believe in the act of Divine healing (Isa.53:4-5; Matt. 8:16-17; James 5:14-16).

We believe in those final things of Scripture which indicate a resurrection of the dead, at His appearing; the millennial reign of Christ; and the final judgment, for the believer and the unbeliever (Zech. 14:5; Matt. 24:27,30; Rev. 1;7; 19:11-14; 20:1-6) (Final Judgment: Matt. 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Rev. 19:20; 21: 11-14; 21;8).

Today I covenant before the Lord and with you, my sister and brother in the Lord.

I covenant and promise to always love you with the love of the Lord (Jesus Christ).

I covenant and promise not to hurt you or cause harm to you with the best of my ability.

I covenant and promise that I will not steal from you, nor lie on you, nor talk about you, nor slander you, nor gossip about you, nor borrow from you and not pay you back.

I covenant and promise that I will not undermine your leadership should I need submit to you.

I covenant and promise to help bare your burden, help you with your needs, if I am able, and to pray without ceasing for you.

I promise to laugh with your laughter, cry with your tears, rejoice when you rejoice, share in your grief and pain, dance when you dance, knowing that you are a part of me and we are family, first in the Body of Christ, and then as a part of the Worship Center International.

I make this covenant not of myself, but with the Lord being my helper. I believe that I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

I covenant with you through this communion with the Lord this day.

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. -Isaiah 59:19
